Elizabeth Jane Hurley is an English model and actress who became known as a friend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. When Grant's film Four Weddings and a Funeral was the focus of worldwide public attention, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace gown with gold safety pins. It instantly brought her fame in the media. Her association with Estee Lauder has been the most memorable moment in her career. Hurley got her first modeling contract at age of 29 and has been using her to model Estee Lader products since the year 1995. In the movies that are a hit with fans, such as International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she played Vanessa Kensington. Hurley has been modeling and designing an eponymous beachwear line. I kissed a Girl - an ode of curiosity about sexuality - made available a few months later. It featured a hard electro-pop sound and a strong stance. The song was controversial and critics were critical of it for encouraging same-sex relationships and others claimed that it portrayed a racy scene that enticed men's fantasies about sexuality in women. I Kissed a Girl, the combination of excitement with a refined melody helped I Kissed a Girl to become a hit number one across the world and boost sales of her 2008 album, One of the Boys. Its bouncy, sharp-tongued and bouncy song, the second Hot N Cold also proving popular the album much of that Perry wrote herself eventually registered greater than three million copies within the United States.
